Vignette Corrector - v5.5
 2007 Martin Vicanek.
First Release date: 24.11.2007 (Version 5.2)
Updated: 06.04.2008 (Version 5.3)
         20.06.2009 (Version 5.5)

DESCRIPTION:

Vignetting is the brighness fallof at the corners of an image. It is most pronounced for wide-angle lenses. Vignetting can be very disturbing in panorama stitching, but sometimes is deliberately used as a nostalgic style element in portray photography.

Vignette Corrector offers you a number of controls to adjust the size and brightness of the vignette. In addition you can modify the tint and saturation. A 3x3 mirror tiled view serves to enhance the vignette visibility. Use the tiled view for accurate vignette correction prior to panorama stitching.

INSTALLATION:

Simply unzip "vignettecorrector.zip" and copy "VignetteCorrector.8bf" to your "\Photoshop\Plug-Ins\" folder, or whichever plugin folder your host program uses. Load your program, open an image, go to the plugins menu and select the plugin.

64-BIT SYSTEMS:

If you are using Photoshop CS4 or CS5 on a 64-bit edition of Windows (XP, Vista or 7), then there are two editions of Photoshop installed on your computer: a 32-bit edition and a 64-bit edition. Vignette Corrector will run on the 32-bit Photoshop edition.

Please copy "VignetteCorrector.8bf" to the 32-bit Plug-ins folder. Its default location is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 or CS4\Plug-Ins.
The (x86) part is important!

To use Vignette Corrector, make sure you are running the 32-bit version of Photoshop! The default location is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 or CS4\Photoshop.exe.
Again, the (x86) part is important.
